A Journey...called LIFE....

"मला नागपुरात जायचंय ह्या दिवाळीत तुला यायचं तर ये नाहीतर राहा इतेच नोकरीकरत आयुष्यभर" असं कोण्या नागपूरकर नोकरदार नवऱ्यानं आपल्या मुंबईत वाढलेल्या नोकरदार बायकोला त्या दोघांच्या कर्मभूमी पुण्यात म्हंटलं तर? काय हे सांगायलाच हवा का किती बा चा बा ची होईल ते? एक गोष्ट लक्ष्यात घेण्याजोगी आहे इथे ती म्हणजे वरचे दोन्ही हि प्रसांगत संभाषण करणारे रक्ताचे नातेवाईक आहेत. मग विचार असा येतो कि एकाच वाक्य दुसऱ्याच्या मनाला इतकं खोलवर का लागावं ? मला असा वाटतं, बोली भाषा आणि त्या भाषेचा विचार प्रचार आणि मनावर पडलेला प्रभाव, वापरलेले शब्द, आणि त्या शब्दांचा आपल्या मेंदूला माहिती असलेला अर्थ लावण्याच्या वृत्ती मुळेच घडलेले मनावरचे आघात, त्यामुळे वर सांगितल्या प्रमाणे झालेली बा चा बा ची, आणि एकंदरीतच हाताबाहेर गेलेली स्थिती. भाषा मराठीचं पण बोलीभाषा वैदर्भिय त्या मधले अंतर आणी ती न समजल्या मुळे झालेले गैरसमज, गोंधळ. विदर...

गेले दयायचे राहून तुझे नक्षत्रांचे देणे माझ्या पास आता कळया आणि थोडी ओली पाने आलो होतो हासत मी काही श्वासांसाठी फक्त दिवसांचे ओझे आता रात्र रात्र शोषी रक्त आता मनाचा दगड घेतो कण्हत उशाला होते कळयांचे निर्माल्य आणि पानांचा पाचोळा They say it correctly - most of the times you will never know the value of good moments in life till those become memories!  In my childhood - when my mom and dad used to play this song I was neither interested in such a boring lyrics over the remix bollywood ones. However now when I listen to it I realize what it means - indeed it has become one of my favorite song.. :)

If you miss me in life... I will be behind you smiling at you.. if you ever miss me in life.. See at my Family.. and their helping hands..  I will get you there to give you the helping hand whenever required.. See at my Mom.. the way she smiles..  I will get you there smiling behind her to tease you.. See my Dad.. the way he talks to the people.. you will see me talking and caring the same way even for the unknowns.. See my Aunts.. and their dedication even after coming from different culture I will get you there.. in their dedicated efforts.. See my Uncles.. the way they still love the entire family.. I will get you there to help you do the same... See my Mauli.. the way it welcomes everybody at HOME I will get you there in each of its bricks.. If you still miss me.. do see the festivals being celebrated in my family.. I will get you there in all those festivals.. celebrating it the unique way every time...

People would mourn for a moment or two,  however, would anything stop because of my departure? The Suns will glow &  the Moons will sparkle, The Stars will revolve, in their defined path These Winds will blow like they do today,  Would anything change in the world, if I am not there? The clouds will drizzle and the fields will ripen, The rivers will flow in abundance Who would care if these feet don't imprint their marks on the banks? Would anybody care in the world, if I am not around? Friends and relatives will wipe their tears, & would resume their routine as usual, They would continue enjoying their lives as they do today with me Would anybody miss me in the  world, if I am not with them? Why should i get agonize over such world? Why should I get entangled in these bonds? Why should I turn away from Angel who beckons me? All are equal at your feet; you can hear the call of a lonely heart. Then yet why is this suffering? Oh God!! The path is lost and all the directions are enveloped in darkness I have given up on Life, My heart is ablaze! This is the game of the faith! This is the game of the faith oh Lord!! Several years back when I was in my moms womb the world was same old as I used to hear & assume People were working for roti, kapda, makan & the show was going on!! As I came in the world, I was forced to learn the rules I had no choice but to mold myself per the teachers in the school I wondered why to learn the things which were invented before but then my teachers were agreed upon, the show must go on!! As I grew up, I started driving everything considering I am the midnight sun I had no fear as my ego had a mirror to show me I was everywhere In the arrogance of power I completely forgot, I was just another performer but  even the raining clouds stay for a while,   then take away the rain, and our smile I was left alone to die on the deathbed, there I heard somebody said to newly born,  the show must go on..!!

I face number of problems everyday, I may not solve all of them at times,  I try to stretch myself to the extremes,  but no matter what, I follow my dreams..  I feel lack of knowledge sometimes,  I need to reread at times,  it gives me ample strength to fight,  and bounce back again to new heights,  I feel exhausted & I scream,  but no matter what, I follow my dream..  I get laughed at by the closest,  I get ignored by the nearest,  I often feel trapped & offended,  I try to forgive them,  as they might not see what I can in their routine,  hence no matter what, I follow my dreams...   -Inspired by the poem which I recently read!!

It was last Saturday morning, my mobile rang at around 5:30am. I took the phone with the most inattentive gesture, suddenly the lively sound of my friend got bumped on my ears..I woke up completely..and got ready within 15 mins.. We all had planned to go to the fort for trekking, and this was that VERY DAY!!... As per the schedule, all trekkers boarded the bus and we started our journey to "Korigad" - The FORT Near Lonavla. As this was unseen, unheard fort for most of us, I like many others, was also wondering about the history and geography of this fort while enjoying the bus ride and "Antakshari" - the most common entertainment type for such journeys. That day afternoon, I was working in the office like any other ordinary day. In the tea time everybody including me was reluctant to go out. Sun was at its full and the air seems to be coming from hundreds of hot blowers. We had a discussion before leaving for afternoon tea and with the majority, the bill got passed to take "that day" tea in a canteen and do some compromise to avoid hot weather for "Tapri Tea". As we started the tea, with our mood the weather also started changing its won.. all of a sudden the wetness came in the air and to our surprise its started raining.. We could smell the beautiful fragrance of soil.. The entire aura has changed & the hot day became pleasant..   People who have voted not to go out then asked to take another cup of tea outside. With the apology & promise to go with them again in the evening I came back to my desk wondering how sudden the weather has changed... Time is really can not be bound & it is indeed a solut...

1st May is called a "Labor Day" or "May Day" which is celebrated throughout INDIA. In some countries the entire week is celebrated as Labor week. This week also coincides with 'Maharashtra Divas' and 'Gujarat Divas' respectively, Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day because the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat were created on the same week in 1960. I don't know about rest of the world but my family used to get holiday on this day - being a labor & working in Maharashtra we never cared about the day but were happy to get a holiday. But from last couple years I have been celebrating this day truly as a Labor day here in America (without a holiday) after all we are labor here right if this term hurts you then in more polite way lets call it as knowledge workers :) Coincidentally, this year 1st May was a holiday, not because the government of US started giving it and passed the amendment for a holiday but because it was a Saturday on that day.
