Interesting Numerology!!
I found one more name which gives the theory (I don’t believe in) a concrete base. I will explain that to you in a moment.
Before we go further let me give you some glimpse of Numerology which you might already know. I have a strong interest in Vadic mathematics so while reading about it long back I came across this theory of numbers, neither I am a firm believer of destiny nor I believe in horoscope but I still believe there are certain things which can not be put in the mathematical express and there we have to feebly believe on such theories. Where word fails to express tear starts isn’t it?
Numerology what is it? Many of you might know already, it is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things. As per Wikipedia Numerology and numerological divination were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered as part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudo mathematics by modern scientists. This is similar to the historical relationships between astrology and astronomy, and between alchemy and chemistry.
Numerology associates the numbers to each letters and then performs some calculations and based on the result set they predict MANY things - magic for me really. Here how it goes the practice within Jewish tradition of assigning mystical meaning to words based on their numerical values
They assign letters
1= a, j, s; 2= b, k, t; 3= c, l, u; 4= d, m, v; 5= e, n, w; 6= f, o, x; 7= g, p, y; 8= h, q, z; 9= i, r ...and are then summed.
Examples:
§ 3,489 → 3 + 4 + 8 + 9 = 24 → 2 + 4 = 6
§ Hello → 8 + 5 + 3 + 3 + 6 = 25 → 2 + 5 = 7
You might have seen some quotes saying if you replace ‘a’ by 1, ‘b’ by 2 and so on then word Attitude counts to 100 etc etc.. There are really many methods to do such calculations.
On the same lines I heard one numerology which says if the person’s first and last name starts with the consecutive letters then those are the most successful people in their own field where ever they work – I know for every rule there are exceptions but this rule again worked well yesterday as I mentioned above while watching the presentation given by Mr Shashi Tharoor to TED India, so I remembered this rule again.
There are many more people I can tell who satisfy the above rule some of them are as below:
Sachin Tendulkar
Ambitabh Bachchan
Lata Mangeshkar
Laxmi Mittal
Abhinav Bindra
Narayan Murthy
Bill Clinton
Chetan Bhagat
Madhuri Nene (I know she was famous as Dixit but what is her current surname? )
Abhishek/Aishwariya Bachchan etc etc..
Don’t ask me the logic behind it and why it works this way, because if you ask me, I would just say I am also in search of the reason, a mathematical formula or a mere coincidence. But till we find that lets enjoy the Numerology and add on the names you might come across which holds true to this rule.

ReplyDeletebut I did not understand that by relating the numbers with the letters what are the results that we are getting here. I mean what is the significance of the this relation. if you can put it in examples that would be great.
Secondly, talking about the alternate letters or the successive letters in the person's name making him or her a successful/famous personality might be just a coincidence but still it is surprising. We need to really search for the reason .....
Your collection of the names for the consolidating the letter theory is really appreciable, keep the great work cherished ... who knows in future this list may contain Parikshit Phuley......
Cheeres,
Sumit.
why have u not mentioned about the numerology which says ,if the persons 1st & last name starts with the same letter ,then those are also the most successful persons .for eg....
